Born in Walthamstow, London in 1982 Daniel Williams is an artist, botanical painter and designer working in Abergavenny, South Wales having been educated at Middlesex University and Blackpool and The Fylde College.

Following an expedition to Sabah, Borneo in 2004 Daniel became the first person to paint the rare orchid Paphiopedilum ooii which is now in the collection at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew accompanying his earlier drawing of the orchid Vanilla imperialis.

Dan has shown at The National Botanic Gardens of Wales, The Royal Horticultural Society, London as well as private galleries. Daniel also has work in collections in both the UK and Malaysia.
